Ministry Files Fourth Ring Settlement Request, First Circle Opens Review

Filed by Council-Speaker Voss Tellamine

The Long Reach Ministry has filed its funding request for the fourth settlement ring on the Long Reach Frontier, Council-Speaker Voss Tellamine’s office confirmed this cycle. The request follows the closure of the Third Ring resettlement, which the Speaker’s office confirmed concluded ahead of projection.

“The Council received the Ministry’s submission and has opened its ordinary review,” Tellamine’s office stated. “The First Circle takes settlement funding seriously precisely because the Third Ring’s success was not an accident — it was the result of a funded, audited, legible process. The Fourth Ring will receive the same scrutiny.”

Minister Kade Orsin’s office declined to characterize the review timeline, stating only that the Ministry “expects the frontier’s momentum to continue.” Ministry officials have previously noted, in unrelated statements, that settlement delays compound — a position the First Circle’s procedural language does not address directly.

The request arrives as the Undersigned’s Objection to prior Ministry spending remains formally open, though Council-Speaker Tellamine’s office did not link the two matters in today’s statement. The Council’s review of the Fourth Ring request is expected to proceed on the First Circle’s ordinary schedule.
