Three people, a dish, and a signal we can't stop listening to.

Sixmile Run is a small, independent RF research group — not a university department, not an institute, not affiliated with any government or observatory. We're three people, a repurposed dish, and several years of translation work, self-funded and chronically behind on the receiver budget.

What we found

A persistent, structured, non-natural signal recurring in the water-hole band — the quiet radio window between the hydrogen and hydroxyl lines that real SETI programs have used as a listening convention for decades. We built the receive chain ourselves, on hardware anyone can buy: a repurposed prime-focus dish, a low-noise amplifier tuned to the hydrogen line, and a software-defined radio digitizing what comes down the line. What we publish

Everything we have. The Wire is our best current rendering of the transmission's news/propaganda layer — a state media apparatus we call the Concordance, reporting on its own factions, wars, and internal politics with no indication it knows it's being overheard. The factions, figures, and regions dossiers, and the Chronicle timeline, are the fuller world those dispatches are drawn from. Where our translation is uncertain, we say so — see our papers, particularly the translation notes, for exactly how confident we are and where we aren't.

Who we are

Dee Okafor built the dish and runs the equipment side. Priya Anand owns the translation methodology. Walt Nowicki keeps the hardware running and the books honest. None of us claim any institutional affiliation, and we're aware of exactly how this reads to a skeptical reader — we'd rather publish plainly and let the work speak than dress it up in credentials we don't have.

How we're funded

Affiliate commissions on the equipment we actually use and recommend — RF receivers, antenna hardware, and the books that taught us the methodology we rely on — and whatever the three of us can personally cover. No membership tier, no donations page, no sponsorships. Sixmile Run, the Concordance, and everything in the Wire, Chronicle, faction/figure/region dossiers, and papers on this site are a work of fiction. There is no real intercepted signal, no real translated alien transmission, and no real research lab behind this project — it is an original serialized fiction presented in the style of intercepted state media and an independent research publication, built and maintained by aliencouncil.com. We keep this note here, on this page only, deliberately — the rest of the site is written in full character throughout. If you found your way here looking for real UAP/disclosure reporting, that isn't what this project is.
