Top line

AARO has confirmed it is “working in close coordination with the White House and across federal agencies to consolidate existing UAP records collections and facilitate the expeditious release of never-before-seen UAP information” — the most explicit executive-level coordination statement the office has issued. The Pentagon’s 46-video package, the most immediate deliverable in that pipeline, remains 22 days past its congressional deadline with no delivery, no formal refusal, and no Pentagon statement.

1. Trump “very soon” pledge now has AARO coordination on record. The White House UAP file release, previewed by President Trump in early May as coming “very soon,” is no longer a political statement without institutional backing. AARO confirmed to Fortune and PBS NewsHour (May 3) that it is coordinating directly with the White House and across federal agencies to consolidate UAP records and facilitate release of material that has not previously been made public. No delivery date has been set. The Council is tracking this as Case #00487.

2. Greer Disclosure Project 25th anniversary press conference is T-2 days. The event is scheduled for May 8 at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. (3–4:30 PM). According to a PR Newswire release, announced participants include a US Army Green Beret who claims access to a facility in Indiana housing non-human artifacts and a Tic Tac-type craft. Jaime Maussan is set to present carbon-dating results placing the “Buga Sphere” artifact from Colombia at approximately 12,560 years old. The conference is also expected to include policy recommendations for presidential executive action. The Council will assess evidentiary weight once the full record — including sourcing and sample chain of custody — is available.

3. Pentagon 46-video package is now 22 days overdue. The April 14 congressional deadline has passed without delivery, formal refusal, or any public Pentagon statement. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna is coordinating with House Oversight Chairman James Comer on subpoena authority, according to NewsNation. The legal posture of the Pentagon’s non-response remains undefined. The Council is tracking this as Case #00488.

4. Luna adds MK-Ultra hearing to the declassification calendar, one day before the UAP proceeding. The House Task Force on Declassification of Federal Secrets will convene a hearing on MK-Ultra on May 13 — explicitly framed by Luna, per The Hill, as part of the same transparency push encompassing UAPs, Kennedy files, and COVID origins. The sequencing is deliberate: the MK-Ultra hearing precedes the UAP hearing by one day and is conducted by the same task force, establishing a cross-program institutional opacity argument before witnesses take UAP testimony.

5. Corbell presses 46-video release on Fox News, cites Reaper drone footage. Filmmaker Jeremy Corbell appeared on Fox News (May 4) asserting that unidentified craft captured in military footage demonstrate “instantaneous motion” and evaded weapons-grade targeting locks during a Reaper drone engagement. Corbell used the appearance to apply public pressure on the pending 46-video release. The Council notes the claim is unverified pending the footage itself; the platform appearance reflects ongoing effort to sustain congressional and public attention on the delivery timeline.

Today’s verdict

Case #00488 — Pentagon 46-UAP-Video Deadline Miss — Watching. The April 14 deadline has now been missed by 22 days with no Pentagon response of any kind — no delivery, no formal objection, no request for extension. Rep. Luna’s move toward subpoena coordination with Chairman Comer is the first concrete escalation mechanism; whether Comer moves to authorize it will determine whether this becomes a constitutional standoff or a quiet administrative delay. The AARO coordination statement from Story 1 adds an ambiguous layer: if the White House is actively consolidating UAP records, the 46-video package’s continued withholding is either compartmented from that effort or in direct tension with it.

The two live trackers — Case #00487 (Trump UAP File Release) and Case #00488 (Pentagon 46-Video Deadline) — are now running on parallel but potentially intersecting tracks. AARO’s White House coordination statement suggests executive intent to release material; the Pentagon’s silence on the 46 videos suggests at least one component of the executive branch is not yet synchronized with that intent, or that the videos are being handled under a separate classification regime. The May 8 Greer conference and the May 13–14 hearing sequence will either accelerate or complicate both tracks depending on what new testimony enters the public record.
