CASE #00485

Top line

Covering 28 April to 1 May 2026, this edition consolidates four days of significant disclosure-adjacent activity across the executive branch, the Pentagon, and the House of Representatives. The picture that emerges is not acceleration — it is pressure: multiple institutional actors making public commitments that have not yet produced a single released document.

The Five

  1. Deceased Air Force intelligence officer linked to legacy UAP program — Liberation Times reports that Matthew Sullivan, a deceased Air Force intelligence officer who died in 2024 before he could testify in a federal UFO whistleblower case, allegedly participated in a covert legacy UAP program, per Rep. Eric Burlison. The claim raises questions about whether the programs Sullivan allegedly knew of are among those covered by the Trump executive order of February 2026. (Liberation Times, 24 April 2026)

  2. Trump confirms UAP records release “very soon” — At a White House Artemis II event on 29 April, President Trump told reporters his administration will release UAP records “as much as we can in the near future,” stating that personal interviews with military pilots who described unexplained phenomena informed that decision. His February executive order directing UAP record releases has not produced any publicly released documents as of this edition. (U.S. News, 29 April 2026)

  3. AARO confirms White House coordination on UAP records consolidation — A Pentagon spokesperson confirmed on 29 April that AARO is “working in close coordination with the White House and across federal agencies to consolidate existing UAP records collections and facilitate the expeditious release of never-before-seen UAP information.” No release date was given. The statement is the clearest public confirmation yet that a records review is underway, though it remains without deliverable or timeline. (NBC News, 29 April 2026)

  4. Rep. Luna states she has personally viewed classified nonhuman-origin materials — House Oversight UAP Task Force Chair Anna Paulina Luna stated in a podcast interview on 29 April that she has personally viewed classified evidence in a SCIF of “things that are of nonhuman origin and creation” and pledged to hold a public press conference once the materials are declassified. The statement follows the Pentagon’s failure to deliver 46 requested UAP videos by the April 14 congressional deadline. See Case #00485. (Newsweek, 29 April 2026)

  5. House Oversight UAP subcommittee convenes in 11 days — The hearing scheduled for 12 May 2026 is now T-minus eleven days. No witness list has been made public. Given Rep. Luna’s statements and the concurrent executive-branch activity, this hearing arrives in a materially different environment than any prior session in this Congress.

Today’s verdict

The Council holds Case #00485 — Rep. Luna’s SCIF viewing of classified nonhuman-origin materials at Watching. A sitting House Oversight chair describing, in specific terms, classified physical evidence of nonhuman origin is not a claim this desk dismisses or confirms without corroborating documentation. The commitment to a public press conference post-declassification is now on the record; the Council will revise this verdict when either the materials surface or the commitment lapses without explanation.

From the case files

The archive contains every congressional and executive-branch UAP commitment made since 2021, cross-referenced by status: delivered, lapsed, or pending. The pattern is legible. Of the 22 statutory deadlines imposed on AARO and the Pentagon through FY2024, eight produced substantive responses, nine produced partial responses, and five produced no public-facing output. The current records-release promise follows this established rhythm. Browse the full case index at /cases/.
